First we wanted to say thanks to all of our customers and friends this year, who have supported our family business. We really cold not have done it without all of you!
As a bonus for our loyal customers and friends, we are hoping to run a giveaway. Currently, we are at 240 sales total for our shop. If we can make it to 300 total ( only 40 more orders) by the end of the year, we will run a giveaway for a $50 gift certificate to our shop! Everyone who made a purchase this year from our shop will be automatically included. We will be posting the giveaway here, with links in our Facebook, so every ones of our supporters can comment and be entered in the giveaway also.
Please share this, and remember all sales for our shop will count towards the 300 goal, including gift certificates. If you think ,anyone on your list ( or yourself !) might like a certificate to the shop, these will be available as special holiday items. For certificates ordered through December 15th, we will send customized paper certificates to you or your chosen recipient. We can send e-certificates right through December 23rd for the last minute grifters!

Furniture pre-orders!
So we told you about our new furniture, and we are happy to announce we are now accepting reservations for the preorders!
Benches and side tables start at $75. Reserve yours for only 40% of purchase price today- supply is limited. Pre-orders will be confirmed in early June, and these pieces should be ready in late July. Shipping not included, local pickup available!

New Expansion: rustic slab furniture!
We are excited to announce that our new line, Treehouse Home, is preparing to craft handmade, beautiful, rustic furniture!
The furniture line will start with small benches, and side tables. From there we hope to move on to full coffee tables, stools, and other items by next spring. Almost all of the furniture will include live-edge slabs for the top piece. If you have been longing for these live-edge items, but balked at the outrageous prices many companies charge, rest assured. The furniture will be set at the same reasonable prices (and level of quality) you have come to expect from Green Handcrafts.
Also, be on the lookout for even more small pieces- sets of coasters, bark-on slab cutting/serving boards, and even live-edge shelves! These smaller items will ship easily, and will be perfect for gifts.
Some items will be presold to help us raise funds for our expansion, we plan to use a crowdfunding site and offer the furniture as rewards for the pledges. More info will be coming soon!
We hope to have a studio soon to display our furniture, this will be somewhere in our local community. We are still looking at locations, but keep checking here because I will be sure to post once we know where our new home will be! Our plan is for a showcase area for our pieces, as well as a separate area for other purposes. Stay tuned for more info!
These pieces will be from the same naturally fallen trees as all of our other pieces, and finished with our own all-natural oil and wax blends. *nut free oil and vegan alternatives to beeswax available*
I am so excited to share this new venture and can't wait until we can unveil some of our pieces!

Gift Wrapping Service with personalized handmade card and gift tag for Christmas!
Gift Wrapping Service
We are now offering a gift wrapping service for any of the items in our shop. This includes a handmade, OOAK holiday card and matching gift tag which I will personalize for you! Six different options for wrapping, all 100% recycled (including the tissue paper!) And, as always, the cards and tags are made with PCW recycled content cardstock. But, don't be mistaken, eco-friendly is still beautiful! These cards are completely hand made with love, no diecutting machines allowed! I cut, piece, and assemble each item by hand, every time. Each card/ tag set is one-of-akind, and unique. I will not reproduce any of them.
Today thru October 7th, we are also offering a 10% discount with coupon code EARLYSANTA. Be prepared, get those gifts now and relax for your holiday season!

February totals for Compassion, and March charity
Well, thanks to a custom order for a fellow Bee (from WeddingBee) I am happy to share that I have $62 towards my child sponsorship fund for Compassion! Yea! I will be making them my featured charity for at least another 2-3 months this year in hopes of raising enough funds to completely cover the sponsorship of a child.
In other news, I have decided the featured charity for March will be Gospel for Asia. GFA has a mission to support natioanl missionaries, and I will be donating money raised to their women's outreach missionaries. These ladies go into homes where many male missionaries would not be allowed, and are faithfully preaching the ministry of Jesus Christ to the locals. They provide a chance for other women to hear the message of the Gospel who would otherwise be without it. I do hope to be able to bring in some money for this amazing mission!

A New Plan
for giving back. I am happy to share that instead of a charity donation of ten percent of sales, all items at my store will now generate 40 - 50% of total profits. I have had so much enjoyment from this new venture that I want to make sure I am giving back enough, as this is one of the main reasons I started my shop.
Over the next weeks I hope to include an actual "donation amount" each items will bring in the individual listings. Also, I am excited to announce the featured charity for February: Compassion. This is something I have been drawn to very much recently and my goal is to have enough sales to sponsor a child through them.
Also in February, I am celebrating my birthday with sales and some giveaways! Don't miss out- subscribe or join to keep updated.
Next up is a look at some of my suppliers of organic cotton fabric, thread, and ribbons.

I am happy to introduce my newest blog, all about eco-crafting for the world. As I am simplifying this new season, I feel like I finally have time to invest in my Etsy shop. Started a year ago, I am focusing on new craft projects with a heart for others.
